📢 Is there value in a hotel-specific CRM vs an enterprise or mid-market crm solution?

📰 Quick clarification: If you hear enterprise, think Salesforce CRM. Mid-market is sounds more like HubSpot or Zoho CRM. These are solutions used by various businesses to manage customer relationships; they have 100’s of features and functionality.

How would they compare to a small-ish company from the UK that built a CRM, specifically for one industry?

📊 Introducing Fore-Sight, the powerhouse CRM for hospitality.

For-Sight is a hotel-specific CRM designed to integrate directly with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, guest WiFi, and reputation management platforms, giving hotels a complete guest profile tied to their actual on-property behavior. This focus makes it particularly effective at delivering personalized pre-stay, in-stay, and post-stay communications, as well as driving upsell opportunities across spa, F&B, and activities. HubSpot, by contrast, is a powerful mid-market CRM that excels in marketing automation, content management, and lead nurturing across industries, but it requires more customization and integrations to achieve the same hospitality-specific functionality.

For hotels, a purpose-built solution like For-Sight provides three distinct advantages: richer guest insights through deep data integration, tailored marketing triggers based on the guest journey, and reporting dashboards built around hotel KPIs such as occupancy, ADR, and ancillary spend. While HubSpot offers broader features suited to many industries, hotels benefit from a CRM that not only understands the nuances of guest behavior but also translates those insights into operational decisions and revenue growth.

🔗 My favourite takeaway from my discussion with Mat Willacy is the service that comes with Fore-sight, a monthly check-in with the hotel to evaluate campaigns, bounce around ideas, and try out new tactics. There are very few SaaS providers who will give this level of attention to their customers, and the mid-market, enterprise guys don’t play that game.

🌟 Ever wanted to chat with marketing people who don’t TOFU the SEM and CAC over the ROAS? Yeah, also me.

🔍 Introducing Richard from Aden Media.

I met Richard during the #Revtech event in Durbanville, and for the first time in a while, I understood what a marketing person was saying, without feeling lost in jargon, numbers, and the “Dark-Arts” of the internet. Hallelujah!

💡 Richard has discovered that most hotel GMs are not 100% sure what the marketing departments are getting up to, yet every year the marketing budget increases.

🚀 Richard and his team are unique in the sense that they do more than spend the budget on Google Ads. Yeah, you know those types. There is a strategy, brand, socials, PR, and collabs. A whole new world for hotels.

If I sound like a fanboy, possibly, great people doing what they love and being excellent at it. What's not to fanboy about?
